In February 2018, luxury skin care brand Augustinus Bader disrupted the beauty industry with its debut of The Cream, a moisturizer whose formula was inspired by 30 years of research and innovation. Since then, the brand has focused its efforts on creating the most technologically advanced formulas to address the customers’ needs, the newest addition to this lineup is The Essence with TFC8, exfoliating toner. A super silky, slightly viscous liquid toner feels soothing upon application, with a new formula of active ingredients that get to work exfoliating dead skin cells and toning its new surface layer, ultimately revealing a smoother complexion.
Like all Augustinus Bader products, The Essence with TFC8, exfoliating toner is anchored by TFC8, Professor Bader’s proprietary Trigger Factor Complex of natural amino acids, high-grade vitamins and synthesized molecules that support skin’s innate repair processes. To this formula were added three hydroxy acids (phytic, salicylic and gluconolactone) to mildly exfoliate surface skin cells, which subsequently also improves skin’s ability to retain moisture. Also included are wasabi ferment, an antioxidant that protects skin from environmental aggressors, and white peony flower to help hydrate, soothe and protect skin from pollution.
