It is always a big event when a fashion house has a new creative director. So it’s not surprising that the whole fashion community was looking forward to Bottega Veneta show at Milan Fashion Week with special anxiety. It was the first show of the brand after the appointment of Matthieu Blazy.
The designer’s motto is really comfortable clothes, in which everyone feels luxurious. Black, navy blue and other understated shades in familiar utilitarian and voluminous shapes are Blazy’s bet for the 2022 fall/winter season.
Matthieu paid special attention to handmade, introducing woven leather bags and embroideries. No machine-made production. There was no shortage of sequins, glossy leather and colorful prints – Blazy could not ignore the colorful images for sure.
Among the celebrities who attended the show were Anna Wintour, Julianne Moore, Jacob Elordi, Derek Blasberg and many others.
