Rixos Premium Dubai has announced an exclusive collaboration with calligrapher Foad Hamzeh, who will unveil a collection of signature works created to depict the wondrous land of calligraphy. The collection will be available to view in the hotel lobby throughout March.
Foad Hamzeh, professionally known as FH.VISUAL, is a calligraffiti and visual artist who uses mixed media to bring the artwork to life. To his credit, he created the Arabic script for FHV graffiti which gives calligraphy a modern twist. Hamzeh believes that when visual images meet hand in hand with communication, the interpretation of the message becomes stronger. He often draws inspiration from looking at objects, and mentally imposes calligraphy on an object/view to show the power of words.
Inspired by the theme of Wonderland and all its intricacies, Rixos Premium Dubai FH.VISUAL uses all his signature works to present his own Wonderland in a new way. Journeying through all of the hotel’s unique spaces, including ceilings, floors, pillars, photo booths and interiors, brings the imaginary gallery to life to create a new experience for all art lovers.

An exhibition of Foad’s work in the hotel’s unique spaces will help our guests explore the wonderland of calligraphic art and tap into the mind of the artist.”
“Considering that Foad’s art was greatly influenced by his mother and March is an important month to celebrate women, the exhibition will feature hand-picked works from his collection on women’s empowerment,” he added.
Foad Hamzeh added: “I’ve always enjoyed creating new experiences for people through art. When the opportunity presented itself, it would be an understatement to say how excited I was.” The works on display at Rixos Premium Dubai are a visual tour of calligraphic wonders.
Foad Hamzeh’s artwork will be on view for three weeks from March 10, 2022.
