This year, for the thirtieth time, the popular Sani Resort will host a music festival. From July 9 to August 20, guests will have the unique opportunity to see world-class artists perform.
For more than 30 years, the Sani Festival has become an eagerly awaited and anticipated event for visitors to the Greek resort and art lovers from all over the world. This annual celebration of music, dance and performance takes place in the incredibly picturesque setting of Sani Hill in front of the medieval tower.
The festival, dedicated to jazz, was first held in 1992 and now covers all musical genres from classical music to contemporary dance and musical theatre. To mark the 30th anniversary of the Sani Festival, international jazz, pop and rock legends, as well as leading musicians from Greece, will be attending the event. People will have unique opportunities to see the world famous and beloved tenor Andrea Bocelli (August 20th), acoustic and songwriter Jack Savoretti (July 27th), jazz fusion virtuoso guitarist Al Di Meola (July 16th), famous punk, actor and social activist Bob Geldof, accompanied by Australian country band The Bobkatz (July 30th) and other great acts from around the world.
