Fendi was one of the last to showcase its updated lineup for the autumn/winter season in the French capital. The presentation of the couture collection took place in a pure white hall, which merged with the catwalk, and the models walked to the music of Simon Parris. The stars were also photographed at a simple white presswall with only the name of the fashion house on it.
Model Winnie Harlow, actress Lashana Lynch, singer Tiwa Savage, French actor Jeremie Laheurte, Japanese actress Hikari Mori and Influencers Leonie Hanne, Cindy Bruna, Bryanboy and others came to see Kim Jones’ creations.
Kim Jones, the creative director of the brand’s women’s line, presented very feminine designs, including maxi and mini dresses in leather, organza, silk and other fabrics, some of which were partially or completely transparent, as well as pant suits combined with jackets, blouses and, for example, asymmetrical coats with a slit on the stomach. The colour palette is a feast for the eyes. Nude shades with flecks of bright yellow, coral, green, blue and terracotta dominate the collection.
“This season I wanted to look beyond Rome or at least put Rome into a global context,” says Kim Jones, Creative Director of Couture and Womenswear. – “In this collection we turned our gaze to individual elements of different cities, namely Kyoto, Paris and Rome. This fragmentation of perception permeates the whole collection, as if it were fragments of memories or impressions of something from the past, present and future.”
