The first RAKtopia music and wellness festival will take place in Ras Al Khaimah on 22 and 23 October 2022. The event is designed for lovers of relaxing atmospheres and musical rhythms and will take place at the Longbeach campsite.
There will be ceramics and mandala workshops and a night of electronic music featuring local DJs NU, LUM and 2Third. There will be yoga and pilates classes on the beach, meditation sessions and other body and spiritual practices.
The festival is expected to be a great gathering place for like-minded people.
In 2023 Ras Al Khaimah will host the World Mini-Football Championship 2023 (WMF). The major football competition is held every two years and attracts thousands of fans and spectators from around the world. The exact dates of the championships will be announced shortly.
The championship, which will bring 24 national football teams and thousands of fans to the emirate, will complete the collection of international sporting events taking place in Ras Al Khaimah.
The emirate already hosts the world’s fastest half-marathon with over 5,000 participants each year, the UAE Tour road cycling competition and the international golf championships DP World Tour and European Tour.
The extraordinary natural scenery and year-round comfortable climate, along with beaches, cultural heritage, natural attractions and activities such as the world’s longest zipline at Jebel Jace make the emirate an ideal destination for sports enthusiasts.
The Emirate is conveniently located and in close proximity to four international airports in the UAE, including Ras Al Khaimah International Airport. Millions of people can reach here in just a four-hour flight.
