The 16th annual Golden Heart Awards ceremony was held yesterday at The Glasshouse in New York City with the support of Michael Kors. Of course, all the invited celebrities wore Michael Kors outfits. A lot of attention was paid to Bella Hadid – the 26-year-old supermodel came to the event with her mother Yolanda and boyfriend Mark Kalman. Mark, as always, kept in the shadows of his beloved and didn’t come out to the photographers on the runway.
Mother and daughter decided to wear the same colour scheme: Yolanda chose a tight beige jumpsuit with a wide waistband and a beige overcoat on one shoulder. Bella wore a gold midi dress with a plunging neckline to the navel.
Princess Diana’s nieces also made an appearance. Both Lady Amelia Spencer and Lady Elise Spencer accessorised their sparkling looks (Amelia wore a silver one-shoulder dress and Elise wore a halter-neck top, a fur cape and black trousers) with Chopard jewellery from the L’Heure du Diamant and Precious Lace collections. Also attending the event were actor Billy Porter, actress Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren, actresses Frida Pinto and Lea Michele, actor Alan Cumming, Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour and human rights activist Huma Abedin.
The Golden Heart Awards is an annual charity event with an auction, with all proceeds going to the God’s Love We Deliver Foundation, founded in 1985.
