The new Historiador Hemingway is a tribute to Ernest Hemingway, the famous writer and former client of Cuervo y Sobrinos. Hemingway lived twenty years in Cuba, his birthplace of the brand, at Finca Vigia. The writer loved the country and was a frequent visitor to Cuervo y Sobrinos.
The Swiss watch brand with Latin American heritage and Caribbean charisma has produced a collection in collaboration with Hemingway Limited, the company founded in 1988 by Ernest’s eldest son, Jack Hemingway. Two versions of the watch have been produced in limited editions of 140 pieces each, with a further two included in a set presented in quantities of 30 pieces. They are encased in a vintage-style stainless steel case with a diameter of 40 mm and the Hemingway logo engraved on the case back. The watch is equipped with an automatic Swiss calibre CyS 5121 movement with a power reserve of 38 hours. The leather strap and CyS branded clasp keep the watch securely in place on the wrist.
