The Baguette bag, which was designed in 1997, is considered a hallmark of the Fendi fashion house. Throughout its 25-year history, the classic baguette bag has undergone many transformations, but it-girls the world over are still on the hunt for an accessory that never loses its relevance. Not least of all Sarah Jessica Parker and the cult series ‘Sex and the City’, the shiny purple baguette is a favourite accessory of Carrie Bradshaw. The day before, Fendi teamed up with Sarah Jessica to launch a new collection of the iconic handbags named after the actress, Parker.
“For me, Fendi is about heritage, tradition, quality and creativity,’ says Parker of the collaboration. – “A baguette from Fendi can reflect everyone’s individuality. After 25 years, the baguette’s shape is timeless. The bag is timeless, modern and classic at the same time. I was honoured to work with Silvia Venturini Fendi and the Fendi studio on this project.”
Note that the main feature of the new line is this season’s trendy sequins and gradient colours.
“I have never seen so many variations of buckles in my life and I have never seen so many beautiful colours,” said the actress.
