Due to her busy filming schedule, Zendaya missed many prestigious events. This included the Golden Globe, where she was named Best Actress in a Drama Series. Last Saturday, she finally broke that string of red carpet absences. And she did it brilliantly.
At the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, where the NAACP Image Awards (National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People) were held, the 26-year-old actress appeared in a classic old Hollywood silhouette, a vintage Atelier Versace couture gown from 2002.
The strapless outfit with its plunging V-neckline and playful thigh-length slit made all the difference, leaving witnesses to Zendaya’s triumphant return to the limelight wondering how the dress held up on the girl. As for jewellery, the star eschewed a necklace in favour of a bracelet with a scattering of diamonds. The actress was given special charm by her new haircut – before the New Year, Zendaya said goodbye to luxurious long hair and made a bob, which is fashionable this season.
