The names of the jurors for the ANDAM Fashion Awards 2023 have been announced. This year’s mentor was the CEO of Chloé, Riccardo Bellini. Model Gigi Hadid has joined the list of guest jurors. She will be joined by Pat Cleveland, Quanna Chasinghorse-Potts who works to protect the lands of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Mexican climate activist Sye Bastida, human rights activist and founder of SheSays Trisha Shetty who advocates gender equality, Iranian-born filmmaker Zar Amir Ebrahimi, editor-in-chief of Vogue China and fashion critic, writer and curator Angelo Flaccavento.
“We hope that this year we will not only celebrate and support the promising talents of the fashion industry, but also highlight the approach to sustainability and positive social impact of their proposals,” said Riccardo Bellini.
ANDAM is a French fashion award founded in 1989 by Nathalie Dufour as a joint venture between the French Ministry of Culture and Defi Mode, a fashion organization. In 2023, organisers decided to increase the amount of prizes up to 700 thousand euros. The award for first place will amount to 300 thousand euros and for the second place to 100 thousand euros. Cash prizes will also be awarded to the winners in the Accessories and Innovation categories, as well as to the best emerging designer. This year’s awards ceremony will be held on 29 June.
