Zendaya is rightly one of the most stylish actresses of today. A number of leading fashion houses are vying for her partnership. However, the star of the series “Euphoria” has chosen Louis Vuitton. Zendaya has become an ambassador for the brand and has already managed to star in the first advertising campaign. The pictures were taken by the cult photographic duo of Mert Alas and Markus Piggott.
“I remember growing up among the Louis Vuitton campaigns. There was one I loved from the early 2000s, with Naomi Campbell posing on a trunk. I can still see her to this day. I see that image in my head and remember seeing it in magazines as a child,” Zendaya said.
Zendaya became the face of their iconic Capucines bag. The accessory was launched about 10 years ago. It was named after the Parisian street where Louis Vuitton opened his first shop back in 1854. The bag is made of genuine leather and can be carried both in the hand and on the shoulder.
“I prefer to keep my hands free,’ says Zendaya about her preference for bags. – That’s why I have a small crossbody bag which I can carry everywhere. As long as it holds my phone, lip gloss and a small camera.”
Incidentally, the ad campaign was shot in a house designed by the modernist architect Eileen Gray. The styling was handled by Law Roach. Recall that the stylist previously said he was planning to leave the profession. However, as time went on, he stressed that he had no intention of leaving Zendaya. However, Roach did not elaborate on what exactly influenced his decision.
