35-year-old pop star Lizzo is not afraid to experiment with her image and regularly tries on outfits and does the craziest hairstyles. Now she is travelling on a European tour and before the next concert in the Netherlands she decided to dye her hair neon green. On her social media, the singer shared a few new photos and a video showing the colour in all its glory in matching fluorescent lighting.
“Green glamour,” the four-time Grammy winner captioned the new snaps.
According to the artiste, the glow-in-the-dark curls were created with the help of star hair stylist Shelby Swain. She is Lizzo’s regular hairstylist – she also did her hair for the Met Gala ball.
Detroit-born singer Lizzo (real name Melissa Vivian Jefferson) released her debut album “Lizzobangers” in 2013, but world fame came to her only 6 years later, when in 2019 she signed with Atlantic Records and released the super hit “Juice”, which was played for a long time from literally every iron. The single was on the track list of Lizzo’s third LP titled “Cuz I Love You,” after the release of which she headlined the Coachella music festival for the first time in her career.
The artist’s latest studio album ‘Special’ was released on the same label on 15 July last year. On that release, the singer experimented with funk and synth-pop sounds and created 12 tracks with Terrace Martin, Mark Ronson, Ricky Reed, Benny Blanco, Max Martin and Rick Rubin.
