Taylor Swift has refused to perform during the halftime show at the Super Bowl in 2024. According to the HITS Daily Double, the reason was the huge costs of her show. Probably, to cover them, the performer is waiting for a large fee from the National Football League, which organises the championship.
However, there is another version of Swift’s refusal. Fans of the star call quite a probable reason: Taylor and already has a large audience. She has no reason to waste time and money on the Super Bowl. Right now, she’s travelling the world with a big tour and packing full stadiums. “The Eras” claims to be the highest-grossing tour of all time. It is estimated that each concert brings the singer $13 million per night. A ticket to Swift’s concert costs about $254. That makes her stadium show one of the most expensive in 2023.
For example, Swift performed at Allegiant Stadium in March. The star drew a crowd of 69,000. That’s more than the Super Bowl a month earlier at the same stadium. As some media outlets have noted, this is the second time the singer has turned down an NFL offer. She previously declined to perform at the Super Bowl in 2022.
