Meghan Markle is planning to launch her own wellness brand. The reason was the relaunch of her lifestyle blog, which had to be shut down in 2017 due to her engagement to Prince Harry. Meghan revealed that she was inspired by the founder of successful wellness company Goop, Gwyneth Paltrow. According to the Mirror, the stars were spotted at the meeting.
In her daily life, Meghan is passionate about yoga, acupuncture, meditation and anti-stress patches to keep her body healthy and youthful. Now she plans to share her knowledge with fans. Royal expert Tessa Dunlop confirmed that Markle has decided to take an active role in reviving her wellness blog after moving to California.
‘Meghan has been in contact with Gwyneth Paltrow and she’s switched from acting to a wider wellness focus,’ the insider revealed.
The website The Tig was named after Meghan’s favourite red wine Tignanello. She founded the platform back in 2014 while filming on the TV series Force Majeure. Back then, the actress shared her thoughts on feminism, travelling, art and healthy living with her fans. In the Netflix documentary Harry and Meghan, the Duchess mused that in her “past life” The Tig meant a lot to her.
