Today, 28 August, Count Nikolai of Denmark, grandson of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, turns 24. The young man celebrated his birthday on the other side of the world – in Australia, where he will be an exchange student during the university term. Paparazzi photographed one of the most attractive aristocrats on Byron Bay beach in the company of his beloved Benedikt Toustrup, who showed a slim figure in a basic black bikini, and several friends. They swam, played football and relaxed with refreshments on the beach.
Nikolai of Denmark and Benedikt Thoustrup lived together in Copenhagen and travelled to Sydney to study together too. It is known that the couple will stay in Australia until November.
Recall that Nikolai – the son of Prince Joachim and Countess Alexandra of Frederiksborg – is the seventh contender in line for the throne. However, the royal future is of little interest to Nikolai: deprived of the title of His Royal Highness, the young man decided to develop a modelling career, which he announced in March this year, registering a new account in social networks.
