Statistics say that 28-year-old British singer and Grammy winner Dua Lipa’s business earned her nearly $87 million in the outgoing year, surpassing the earnings of another British superstar Adele during the same period. The Sun reports that the jump in earnings came after the singer’s businessman father Dukagjin, known as Dougie, became the manager of all the singer’s commercial assets. The pop diva managed to triple her profits in 2 years.
However, despite the huge success of Dua Lipa, Adele still leads in terms of total wealth. According to the Sunday Times list of richest people for 2023, the 35-year-old singer of the hit song “Hello,” who is one of the most successful female artists of all time, has a net worth of about $210 million.
On the other hand, Dua Lipa released her highly anticipated track “Houdini” in November, which is the artiste’s first new solo work since her 2020 album Future Nostalgia. She also released the hit “Dance the Night Away,” written for Greta Gerwig’s super-successful film “Barbie.” And it was recently revealed that the pop star is finalising her “truly personal third album” which will be released in 2024. This gives Dua Lipa every chance of becoming the UK’s richest female performer within the next 2 years.
