The 43-year-old handsome Ryan Gosling continues to receive awards. Last Saturday, 13 January, the actor was on stage at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and did not hold back his emotions.
“Most importantly, I met the girl of my dreams, Eva Mendes, and I had two dream children,” said the 43-year-old Barbie star.
The film actor also mentioned his passionate love for cinema.
“I dreamt of making films once and now cinema has turned my life into a dream. So, from my point of view, I have by no means contributed half of what cinema has contributed to me, but the thought that I could give something back to something that has given me so much is too great. It’s an honour to express that.”
Gosling and his lover Eva Mendes have two daughters, 9-year-old Esmeralda and 7-year-old Amada. The couple has been together since 2011. Last May, an insider exclusively told Us Weekly that their relationship is as hot as it was years ago.

In accepting his award, Gosling honoured his mother Donna, who he said helped him succeed and realise a deep love for film.
“Part of her curriculum was to go to the library every week to borrow books I wasn’t going to read. She had a solution for that too. The library had a collection of films and she made a deal with me that for every book I read, I could rent a film,” the actor shared a touching memory.
