British pop star Adele has both delighted and saddened her fans. The singer has announced that she has no plans to work in the studio anytime soon, however when she does record a new album, she will go on a big tour.
‘I just don’t think I’m going to be able to write an album anytime soon,’ Adele told fans on 27 January in Las Vegas. – ‘But when it happens, I’ll come see you wherever you live.’
Adele’s latest album, called “30,” was released in November 2021. The singer of the hit “Hello” has not yet revealed any information about the future release.
Her latest tour began in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace in November 2022 and will end in June 2024. In October 2023, Adele announced her decision to extend the tour, which was originally scheduled to end in November 2023.
‘These shows changed my life,’ she wrote on her blog. – ‘I desperately needed to fall in love with live shows again, and I did. I needed to reconnect with my songs and remember what they mean to me, and I did!’
Her performances last year came to see many Hollywood stars. In December 2023, Adele said she was shocked when she learnt that Lady Gaga had attended her concert, carefully disguised.
‘I spent some time with her, I really appreciate what she does,’ Adele told The Hollywood Reporter. – ‘I thought at the time: “The show is terrible. This is a failure. I sing terribly. I’m not funny. My dress this week totally sucks. I’ve been judging myself. She made me nervous!’
Adele admitted that she doesn’t know in advance who will be attending her concerts, causing her to accidentally “walk past” Canadian singer Shanaya Twayne during one of the first performances of the tour. Recall that Adele’s big concerts were postponed for almost a year due to the pandemic, but after a break the singer returned to the stage and was received with great success by the public and loyal fans.
