The main musical event of the year – the 66th Grammy Awards ceremony – took place in the United States. The highly anticipated event was traditionally and for the 21st time held at the Crypto.com Arena and broadcast live on the CBC channel. However, the format of the awards has undergone some changes – the Recording Academy has added three new categories: Best Alternative Jazz Album, Best Dance Pop Recording and Best African Music Performance. Hosting this year’s awards was actor Trevor Noah.
The entire list of A-list performers took to the Grammy carpet, including Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, Christina Aguilera, Dua Lipa, Lenny Kravitz, Miley Cyrus, Billy Eilish, Kylie Minogue and many others who were not only guests but also nominees. The event was also not without celebrities from the film and fashion industry, such as Meryl Streep, Holly Bailey, Heidi Klum and Alessandra Ambrosio.
