Jennifer Garner celebrated her eldest daughter Violet Affleck’s graduation on Monday, 20 May by posting emotional snaps on social media. The first photo in the roundabout shows Garner clapping her hands and barely holding back tears surrounded by other parents.
“Tell me you have a senior without telling me you have a senior. Bless our hearts,” Jennifer wrote in the caption.
The video included in the post also shows the film star crying on the plane and expressing concern about whether he will make it to Violet’s graduation.
“How are we going to make it? What are we going to do?” – Says flustered Garner.
In addition to Violet, Garner’s marriage to Ben Affleck has produced two other children: 15-year-old Seraphina and 11-year-old Samuel. The actress was supported in the comments by her celebrity friends, many of whom have gone through their children’s high school graduations.
“Oh dear – I know! You did a great job, mum! I’m here to support and hug you,” wrote Reese Witherspoon, with whom Garner is currently working on the second season of The Last Thing He Told Me.
“I literally can’t believe it”, added actress Beezy Phillips .
“Oh my god Jen, I stopped crying a week after graduation, I have the same girl, I love you madly, stay strong”, designer Rachel Zoe shared.
In November 2023, Garner shared that she has learnt a lot since becoming a mother in 2006.
“My kids have taught me a lot. To tell you right now – what? Humility. They are on the right track to teach me that. My house is full of teenagers and it’s hard work,” the star concluded.
