Jennifer Aniston has accomplished a lot in her long career, from starring roles in films to starting her own hair care brand. But this year, she took it to the next level and for the first time ever, she got involved in publishing a book. On Tuesday, the Hollywood star posted a hilarious animated video on social media showing her posing in the kitchen with a new book called Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life. An illustration of Clyde takes centre stage on the cover of the book, and in the clip an animated image of a dog has been placed next to Jennifer.
“Big news for this little guy. I’m so excited to help Clydeo announce his first book. Pre-order it now at the link in the bio,” Aniston wrote in the caption.
The book will be published by Harper Collins and will be released on 1 October 2024.
“Global superstar Jennifer Aniston presents a fun picture book about self-discovery and confidence, starring her food-loving dog Clydeo! Everyone in the Clyde family all know what they do, except Clydeo. Clydeo is not into surfing like his uncle. He’s not into drawing blindfolded like his cousin. And he might try to dig up dinosaur bones like his aunt, but it’s definitely not his thing. Clydeo tries everything he can think of, but nothing seems to make his eyes sparkle with happiness. Will Clydeo ever be able to find what he loves doing the most? Find out in this entertaining and touching story brought to you by actress, producer and entrepreneur Jennifer Aniston,” reads the synopsis.
Jennifer lives with her three dogs in a beautiful home in a mansion in Bel-Air and often shares cute photos of them on social media. The news made the actress’ fans happy, with many of them writing in the comments of the post that they will be pre-ordering the book. Jennifer is the owner of Clyde the dog, as well as two other dogs, Sophie and Lord Chesterfield. She is incredibly passionate about helping other dogs and often shares posts on social media encouraging followers to adopt pets from a shelter. This year Aniston was honoured with a special award from animal welfare organisation PETA called ‘I’m with you on animal welfare’.
