Pink’s hugely successful American tour continues as the artist recently performed in her hometown in Pennsylvania. The star was born in 1979 in the town of Doylestown, which is just 25 miles north of Philadelphia, and every return to her hometown is a special occasion for her. On 18 August, Pink performed at Lincoln Financial Field to a full house. The concert was notable for the fact that many of the artist’s close family members and friends, including her mother Judy, were in the audience. Days after the show, the singer shared a few moments from the concert and thanked fans.

“Philly, I can’t believe we did it!” – she wrote. – “Thanks to my mum, my family, my friends, my school teacher and every single person who came to the show that exceeded my wildest dreams! I’m so proud to be from here.”

Pink also acknowledged the musicians who performed with her on stage.

“And a special hello to The Bill Jolly Choir, who reunited with me last night for the first time since we recorded ‘I Am Here’ together. Thank you for sharing your extraordinary talent with us and helping to create one of my favourite moments of the show.”

The Summer carnial tour has been a sensation since its launch on 7 June 2023 in Bolton. The tour runs until 18 November this year, Pink will play her final concert in Orlando after nearly 100 shows around the world. Like many of the artist’s concerts, this tour has grossed over $360 million so far, becoming the fifth most successful tour by a female artist of all time, including Madonna, Beyoncé and Taylor Swift.
