The screening of ‘The Room Next Door’ took place yesterday, 2 September, in the framework of the 81st Venice Film Festival. On the carpet on this day came as the director of the film Pedro Almodovar, and his Oscar-winning actresses: Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton. And both appeared at the event in completely different in style, but extremely spectacular images.
Julianne Moore shone at the premiere of ‘The Room Next Door’ in a luxurious Bottega Veneta dress made of many golden sequins. The outfit shimmered in the light of camera flashes, resembling fish scales. The actress accompanied the long-sleeved dress with a deep neckline with massive gold earrings and discreet styling: Julianne gathered her hair in a neat low ponytail.
Tilda Swinton appeared at the premiere in a stylish light grey trouser set from Chanel, consisting of a jacket with fringe and translucent trousers, and the director of the tape Pedro Almodovar – in a pink suit Loewe. By the way, he also acted as the screenwriter of the film.
According to the synopsis, ‘The Room Next Door’ tells about two friends of youth (Moore and Swinton), who after a long separation meet again. However, one of them is diagnosed with an incurable disease and decides to take her life into her own hands.
