This summer, Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa of Jordan announced the happy news that their first child was born. The Hashemite Court announced the princess’ pregnancy in April. Now the couple is enjoying the first months of parenthood and recently shared a touching photo. On Thursday, 14 November, the heir to the Jordanian throne shared a rare shot with their three-month-old daughter as they prepared to watch a football match between Jordan and Iraq. In the picture posted on social media, Crown Prince Hussein is wearing a black T-shirt while his baby daughter is wearing a white jumpsuit with the national team’s logo embroidered on it. The proud father lifted the baby girl in his arms for a rare photo together and smiled sweetly at her. The photo was a real gift for fans, because the royal couple did not post anything for almost two months.

‘A little cuddle before the game,’ Hussain wrote in the caption of the photo. – ‘Iman right before the match today.’

Hussein and Rajwa married on 1 June 2023 and 10 months later the Royal Hashemite Court announced that the princess was pregnant. Princess Iman was born on August 3 at King Hussein Medical Centre. Just four days later, the proud parents posed for their first family photos with their baby girl.

‘A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated staff at the Royal Medical Service for their exceptional care of Rajwa and Iman over the past few days,’ Crown Prince Hussein wrote in the caption of the photo at the time.

Baby Iman was the first granddaughter of King Abdullah and Queen Rania, whose Arabic name means ‘faith’ and ‘conviction’. The Royal Hashemite Court confirmed in a statement that the newborn has been given the royal title and title of Her Royal Highness, and will officially be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint al-Hussein bin Abdullah II.
