Global pop star Katy Perry will kick off her tour in Mexico next April, before travelling to Australia and playing shows across the UK in October. Katy announced that the Lifetimes Tour concert series will take in major arenas across the UK in 2025, raving that she loves how convenient London is when it comes to children’s activities, as she will be taking her 4-year-old daughter with her on the trip.
‘I’m really excited that Daisy will be able to join me on this world tour. She is now four years old and will turn five on the road. Time really does fly. Some of my friends who don’t have children come to visit and are very surprised at how fast she is growing up. I am so excited to introduce her to so many places in the world and we are going on a fun adventure together.’
Perry said that the UK capital is very progressive and comfortable with leisure activities.
‘I know that our weekend in London will be filled with fun, trips to playgrounds and outdoor adventures. In the UK, we love parks. We are in such a good mood when we are there. London has so many things set up for families.’
Katy also said she feels she has ‘grown up’ with her British fans, after her first concert in a small pub in London before her career took off in the late 2000s.
‘I remember my first gig at the Water Rats. It was amazing. I remember walking and meeting my first English fans. I see them now and we’ve grown up together. They cheer me up,’ the pop star concluded.
