Pink has officially ended her massive ‘Summer Carnival’ tour, which lasted 17 months and travelled to 98 cities. The artist visited 15 countries in more than a year, and after the final concert she took to social media to thank fans, crew and family – on Wednesday, 20 November, Pink celebrated the end of the tour with a touching post.
“This show has tested me in every way: my body, mind and soul. It’s the most physically, mentally and spiritually ambitious show I’ve ever been a part of. It was very hard, but every moment was worth it: because all of us together will remember it for a lifetime. I know I thank you often, but your gratitude will never be enough for me. Your energy, love, dedication and passion – that’s what I came out on stage for every night. Thank you to fans old and new. When I see you sing with me at every concert, my soul sings with you,” Pink said in the video.
She concluded by thanking her family. Recall that the artiste is married to Cary Hart since 2006, the couple raises a son and a daughter.
“Thank you to my family, my team, my dancers, my band. Thank you for creating this incredible world with me. I can’t believe what we’ve done. I won’t be able to believe it’s over until we meet again!”
Pink’s husband Carey Hart also dedicated a touching post to the singer and their children Willow and Jameson, who have taken part in concerts from time to time.
“That’s it!!! Over 4 million tickets sold and over 130 concerts performed on my wife Pink’s world tour. At the last concert, Jamo made his drumming debut. Amazed at how Wills has shown herself as a performer, singer on this tour. Pink, you’ve overcome injuries, fatigue, homesickness, illness, combining work and motherhood. I am insanely proud of you. That’s it,” Hart concluded.
