Hugh Jackman debuted in a new image, which greatly amazed his loyal fans. The other day he showed a video in social networks, as he usually celebrates the end of film shooting – a trip to the hairdresser. Hugh, who has just finished filming on Song Sung Blue, the Neil Diamond-inspired musical where he starred alongside Kate Hudson, shared a video showing him getting his sideburns cut. Neil Diamond’s song ‘No Words’ played in the background, while a cheerful Hugh parted with his hair without regret.

“A traditional shave and wrap!” – he joked in the caption to his post. – “Thank you to every single person who was and will be a part of this amazing film. Kate Hudson, you are one of them,” he added.

Jackman grew sideburns to resemble Neil in his new film. Based on Greg Koch’s 2008 documentary of the same name, Song Sung Blue tells the true story of musician couple Mike and Claire, who become an incredibly successful Neil Diamond tribute band.

The actor’s transformation comes amid reports that the ‘Wolverine’ star may spend Christmas without his children due to rumours of his new relationship with actress Sutton Foster. The Australian actor reportedly wanted to introduce his new girlfriend to his children, Oscar, who is 24, and Ava, who is 19, but his ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness is against the idea.

A source claims that Deborra-Lee feels Hugh is already fully engrossed in the new romance story, but she is ‘too invested in their marriage’ and doesn’t want a stranger’s presence at Christmas.
