Zendaya and Tom Holland met in 2017 on the set of the blockbuster Spider-Man: Homecoming and have since worked on two more films in the popular franchise, but have never appeared on screen together since. And during his recent appearance on the Dish podcast, Tom went into more detail about the perks of working together with his favourite.
‘The studios love it: one hotel room for two people,’ he joked. – ‘But the drivers are different. We are not crazy.’
The actor noted that on the film set they easily find a common language.
‘When we’re on set and the director makes a remark that we may not agree with, or when I realise that she doesn’t like it… we just look at each other and sort of say to each other without words: ‘We’ll discuss it later’.
Holland also hinted that the pair will have another project together, directed by Christopher Nolan, the author of ‘Oppenheimer’ and ‘The Dark Knight.’
‘Filming hasn’t started yet. To be completely honest with you, I don’t really know anything yet. I’m very excited. Everything’s being kept top secret. I’ve met Nolan before, and it was amazing. He’s outlined what it’s going to be, and I’m sure when he’s ready he’ll make an announcement.’
