Last Monday, 30 December, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt finally came to an agreement in their years-long divorce proceedings and put a final mark on it. According to insiders, the event was the ‘best start to 2025’ for Pitt. Angelina, on the other hand, demonstrated her attitude to it personally, appearing on the red carpet of the Desert Palm festival by the hand with her daughter Zahara.
Posing reporters, Angelina was in high spirits and with a new hairstyle – the actress made fringes. The image was complemented by natural make-up and a tight black strappy dress. Zahara made a contrast, choosing a fitted white dress with a cape.
This evening for Jolie ended with another personal victory – she received an award for the role of opera singer Maria Callas in the Netflix film ‘Maria’.
Recall, the marriage of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt lasted 12 years, until in 2016 Jolie decided to officially break off the relationship. Husband and wife, the star couple ceased to be in 2019, but they were able to finalise the divorce only years later. At first, the exes could not agree on how and with whom they will live and x children, and the couple has six of them-Maddox, Pax, Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne. Later there was a dispute about their joint property. In particular, about the winery, on which the couple played the wedding and part of which Angelina sold without consent with the ex-spouse.
‘More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr Pitt,’ Jolie’s lawyer James Simon told Page Six on Monday. – She and the children left all the homes they shared with Mr Pitt. She has since focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long process that began eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she’s glad that part is behind her.’
