After the release of the acclaimed body horror ‘Substance’ and the audience and critics only talked about the fact that Demi Moore for her brilliant work will almost certainly be honoured with an ‘Oscar’. And nomination Film Academy actress did not deprive the actress, for the first time in 45 years that Demi plays in the cinema – for outstanding performance of the role of fading TV star Elizabeth Sparkle. The actress herself hasn’t commented on the nomination in any way yet, but we wouldn’t be surprised if she gets on the phone soon to celebrate.
The film ‘Substance’ has pushed 62-year-old Demi Moore’s career to a real renaissance. The actress took home a Golden Globe for her work this coming year and gave a touching and heartfelt speech from the stage, saying she didn’t expect such a massive response. According to Demi, the script was sent to her at a time when she already thought that ‘her days in Hollywood are numbered’, which certainly echoes the story of her screen character.
