Inspiration for the Fall 2020 collection began with Goethe’s 1797 poem The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, aiming to capture the enchantment of a magical evening and the fleeting feeling of a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. Drawing from storied New York City nightlife and Truman Capote’s legendary Black and White Ball, this seasons collection highlights fete dressing-from the beau monde to British rock royalty, emphasizing exuberance and extravagance.
Inspired by clean, easy couture lines- suiting and daywear is elongated, lean, and sharp; with evening gowns designed for ease of movement. Archival couture fabrics with modern energy were reintroduced in new, ample silhouettes.
The vivid color palette is meant to catch the eye. Intricate embroideries, heavily inspired by fireworks and their fleeting beauty, illuminate the silhouettes while leaving a lasting impression. This is a dynamic and spirited collection of superlatives, meant to celebrate living life to the fullest and embracing every moment.
