In anticipation of the 10th Sikka Art and Design Festival, Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has announced that it is ready to provide visitors with a comprehensive and engaging experience. The festival will be held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture.

During the festival, in addition to visiting the historic Al Fahidi Quarter and exploring its many historic landmarks, visitors will enjoy exhibitions and innovative art installations, as well as evening events that will spread joy through the Al Fahidi lanes with exciting live performances. Visitors will also be invited to take part in workshops and discussions, and enjoy dinner offered by home-cooking concepts in the area.

The Sikka Art and Design Festival will be held March 15-24 in the historic Al Fahidi neighborhood under the theme “Celebrating Art, Celebrating Growth.” The neighborhood will welcome visitors to its alleyways, where Sikka exhibitions will take place from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays, 2 p.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays and 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Sundays.

This year the prestigious festival presents a number of special projects including Sikka House, Khaleeji House, Biennale.IO, a number of distinctive art installations, murals and new media workshops.

Dubai Culture, in collaboration with the Dubai Department of Roads and Transportation, will facilitate public access to the Sikka Art and Design Festival by making it accessible to all. Visitors will be able to reach Sikka by public transport buses via Al Fahidi Bus Station and by metro via Al Fahidi Metro Station.
