Since her recovery, Duchess Charlene has been appearing in public more and more often, but mostly with her husband. Yesterday, the Duchessappeared in Paris alone – without Duke Albert II and their twin children, Jacques and Gabriella. Charlene attended the fashion show of spring-summer 2023 collection of Akris brand, which took place as part of Paris Fashion Week. And this was her first solo appearance in public outside her princedom after a long illness.

She appeared at the fashion show in a stylish navy blue outfit of the same brand, consisting of a blazer and straight trousers with arrows. The Duchess accessorised with round-toe suede shoes and held a black clutch bag with braids and tassels. The look was completed with carnation earrings, a simple style and make-up in natural peach tones.

Her Ladyship later shared a snapshot on social media showing her leaving the show. The shot, which was taken from the back, shows her talking to Akris creative director Albert Krimler before getting into her car.

“Thank you Albert for a lovely evening and congratulations on the brand’s 100th anniversary,” she wrote in the publication.

Since Charlene returned to Monaco in March this year, the press has discussed the Duchess’ health relentlessly. No sooner had she recovered from complications of a severe ear infection and taken part in several public events at once than she was diagnosed with coronavirus in early June. The palace said that the princess’ condition was no cause for concern and she soon attended the opening of the Monte Carlo TV Festival with Albert II. A few days later the Duchess and her husband and children left Monaco for the first time for a visit to Norway.
