Kristen Stewart is known in Hollywood as a versatile person who tries her hand in many fields. For instance, the actress wants to realize herself as a director. The BAFTA award winner will direct three upcoming music videos for the band Boygenius, founded in 2018. The movie star and the three-piece band confirmed the information in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

It has not yet been disclosed which songs Stewart will shoot the video for. The publication’s reporters speculated that it could be three already-released tracks from Boygenius’ upcoming debut album, The Record. The tracks are entitled “$20”, “Emily I’m Sorry” and “True Blue”.

The record will be released on March 20. An earlier release date had been planned, but plans were thwarted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Boygenius is an all-female group consisting of the already popular indie singers Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker and Phoebe Bridgers. Although the members separately gravitate towards folk, emo and indie-rock, their common interests and numerous overlaps at concerts have brought them together in one collective. In particular, the girls say they shared a love of the works of Henry James.
