The iconic singer Barbra Streisand is set to publish her first memoirs. The book is called “My Name is Barbra”. According to the publisher Penguin Random, the work will be a kind of revelation of the most “titled” Hollywood star.

“She is a perfectionist, creator and idol,” Penguin Random said.

The book is said to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at her 60-year career. Streisand’s debut book will be on the shelves in November 2023. The book will not only be available in hardcover, but also in electronic format.

The publisher added that Barbra’s memoirs will reveal a voice “no less spectacular than the singer’s unforgettable shows”. As a reminder, Streisand achieved success not only in the musical field, she also became famous as an actress, director and producer. She has won two Oscars, five Emmys, ten Grammys, eleven Golden Globes and a Tony Award as a “ugly duckling” (as Streisand was referred to early on in her Hollywood career because of a peculiar nose shape).
