Last Saturday, 15 April, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles hosted its 9th annual Breakthrough Prize science ceremony, which honours young and talented scientists.

The event was attended by celebrities from the world of science, as well as film, showbiz and even sports stars. Pop diva Christina Aguilera, tennis player Maria Sharapova, actor Robert Downey Jr. who dramatically changed his image and shaved his head, The Fast and the Furious star Vin Diesel, Hollywood legend Danny DeVito, sweet actor couple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, and many others were among the celebrity guests.
