The 76th Cannes Film Festival has officially kicked off and will run until 27 May. The grand opening took place in France on 16 May. Every year this event attracts an unprecedented number of celebrities from the world of cinema and beyond. As the carpet is lined with glamorous outfits and couples and families make headlines around the world, this year’s festival is no exception.
Catherine Deneuve, Naomi Campbell, Alessandra Ambrosio, Elle Fanning, Charlotte Casiraghi, Brie Larson, Helen Mirren, Romy Strayed and many other A-list celebrities flew to Cannes on Tuesday.
For Uma Thurman, for example, the event was an occasion to go out with her actor son. Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones attended the opening with their beautiful daughter, who made her first appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.
