Contemporary artists Sunwoo Kim, Zhou Li and Sophie Kitching have created a capsule collection of bags for fashion house Bvlgari. This year the Serpenti line celebrates its 75th anniversary and the new Serpenti in Art classic of six bags is closely tied to both art and mythology.

Korean artist Sunwoo Kim, known for his images of dodo birds symbolising the search for freedom and happiness, has embodied his artistic vision in the Serpenti Forever bag with a top handle. Chinese artist Zhou Li, who works in genres ranging from painting to sculpture, installation and public art, has reimagined the top handle of the Serpenti Forever bag in terms of her abstract paintings. And US artist Sophie Kitching took her conceptual approach to the creative process and made the handle in a floral style.

The exclusive Serpenti bags, produced in just 75 pieces, are presented at the Bvlgari Serpenti in Art event during Paris haute couture week.
