Hollywood star Nicole Kidman is embracing country life. When she returned to her farmhouse in South Highland, Australia, for Christmas, she immediately began caring for her young goats.

“Holiday chores,” Nicole captioned the photo on her social media accounts, where she can be seen feeding the animals from a bottle.

The actress chose a practical country outfit: black leggings and a classic down jacket, completing the look with a black baseball cap and white and grey trainers. Kidman bought the expansive estate with her husband Keith Urban in 2008. The “Moulin Rouge!” star and the country singer have remodelled and improved their farm, dubbed Bunya Hill, several times over the years. The couple added a large pool, gym and full-size tennis court. They also took a number of security measures to enjoy the tranquility: they installed large grass mounds around the perimeter of the property and built a guard house to protect the grounds.

Incidentally, in 2015, fans were able to get a peek inside the house, with the actress boasting in a video interview with Vouge about the traditional Australian sandstone verandahs, grand carved cedar staircase and 10 marble fireplaces. At the time, Kidman revealed that the “coolest part of her house” was the six alpacas. However, the stars nearly lost their favourite estate in 2020 when wildfires in Australia devastated the neighbourhood.
