A joyous event in the life of eight-time Grammy winner Usher – the singer got married for the third time. The artist’s beloved Jennifer Goicoechea became the chosen one, and the wedding ceremony took place in Las Vegas on 11 February, the same day as the final game of the Super Bowl, where Usher gave a great solo performance. The singer’s marriage was first reported by People.

According to TMZ, who are rarely wrong about insiders, the ceremony took place at a Las Vegas wedding palace near the Little White Chapel, where Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez wed the year before last. Usher’s mum Johnnetta Patton was the witness and the Reverend Ronald Joseph Pokrywka was the master of ceremonies. Notably, at the Super Bowl after-party, the newlyweds appeared in spectacular white wedding outfits. There, the singer also demonstrated a luxurious engagement ring and stated:

‘It was an amazing night, man. I’m really happy. And this is just the beginning.’

Shortly before the news of the wedding, tabloid Page Six wrote that Usher and Goicoechea had received a marriage licence, but at the time it remained unclear when exactly the celebration would take place. The romance was first talked about in 2019, and in 2021 the couple had a child together. In total, the artiste has four children.

For the 45-year-old singer, this is not the first marriage. From 2007 to 2009, he was married to designer Tameka Foster, and from 2015 to 2018 – to music manager Grace Harry.
