Selena Gomez spent last weekend in pink: the artist celebrated the launch of a new product from her own cosmetics brand by wearing an all-pink ensemble consisting of a floral patterned dress and matching soft pink coat. She left her auburn locks loose with a side parting, adding a sixties-inspired elegance to her look. The Wizards of Waverly Place actress completed the look with pink heeled shoes and silver jewellery, posing with a pack of blush.

The new line of cosmetics includes six shades, which were used in the d├ęcor of the fashion presentation. At the event, attendees were able to evaluate the product before it hits the shelves. Many opted for a pink outfit to support the dress code set by the organisers.

Last week, Gomez posted a mock video on social media to celebrate the blush launch. In the clip, she showed off one of the brightly coloured shades, writing:

“This is me adding a new product to the Rare Beauty collection that you all have been asking for. Obviously I’m very serious about my new Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush,” Selena said with a laugh. – “No, actually I’m so excited for you to finally try them.”

The compact blushes are priced at $26. They are currently available exclusively at Sephora retail shops. Selena founded her cosmetics brand in 2019 and then launched it in North America in 2020. According to Bloomberg, the company sold about $70 million worth of products last year in the blush category alone. Rare Beauty is known for offering good quality products at a reasonable price. Selena has also successfully capitalised on makeup trends on her social media to boost the company’s sales.
