Pamela Anderson has offered a glimpse into her personal oasis – a seven-acre garden surrounding her childhood home in Ladysmith, British Columbia. Sharing photos on social media, Anderson revealed the ongoing transformation of the property her family calls “Arcadia,” where she relocated from Malibu in 2020.
The actress recently spoke to Architectural Digest about the deep emotional significance of the Ladysmith estate. She shared that it was the first home her parents lived in after marrying and the place where her two sons with Tommy Lee, Dylan and Brandon, learned to walk.
“This is the place where everything fell back into place for me,” Anderson confessed, highlighting the property’s role in her personal journey.
Having stood untouched for 25 years before her return, Anderson embarked on a mission to renovate and revitalize the estate. For this project, she enlisted the help of Vancouver-based interior designer Francesca Albertazzi.
Anderson poetically framed her connection to the space on social media, captioning new garden photos: “I think of life as a garden… You can replant it, start again and make it your own.”
In her interview, the 55-year-old star expressed how she has discovered a profound sense of self through gardening and the domestic arts of making pickles and preserves. When asked about what she specifically cultivates in her garden beds, Anderson listed: “Beets, radishes, lettuce. It’s fun. My mom sends me pictures when I’m traveling and can’t tend to it myself.”
Anderson’s garden at “Arcadia” represents more than just a landscape project; it’s a return to roots, a family sanctuary being lovingly restored, and a source of simple, grounding pleasures like growing vegetables and connecting with nature.
