His recent rise to the top spot coincides with his increased visibility and responsibilities over the past year. With Catherine undergoing preventative chemotherapy after a cancer diagnosis, the Prince of Wales stepped up to shoulder a greater share of royal duties. Royal experts suggest that his dedication during this challenging time and his visible support for Catherine have likely contributed to his surge in popularity.
Securing third place in the public’s favour is the Princess Royal, Anne. Frequently described as a valuable asset to the family, she is widely regarded as an “unofficial secret weapon and right hand” to her brother, King Charles III.
