24-year-old Jaden Smith has been appointed as the first Creative Director of Menswear and Accessories at Christian Louboutin. In this newly created role, Smith will oversee the creative direction for all four seasonal collections. His debut collection will be presented during Men’s Fashion Week in January, with the line scheduled to hit stores in May 2026.
Founder Christian Louboutin expressed his enthusiasm in an official statement, saying: “When I first met Jaden, I saw he was a perfect match for our house. His world is rich and multifaceted, his style and cultural sensitivity are inspiring, and his curiosity and openness are remarkable. I felt that under his creative direction, our menswear line would evolve by leaps and bounds. He seems to me the perfect addition to our creative team, and I genuinely look forward to working together.”

Smith first met Louboutin in 2019 and described their creative alignment as natural. “The merging of my vision with Christian’s happened completely naturally because we see the world very similarly. We both respect creative freedom, and I think that’s why our collaboration works,” Smith told WWD. “Christian has provided me with a space where I can freely explore, learn, and create. His legacy is built on hard work, and I want to continue in the same spirit.”
The young creative also acknowledged the significant responsibility that comes with the position, calling it “one of the biggest honors” of his life while admitting to feeling considerable pressure to meet expectations. “I can’t wait to show the world what we’re working on. I believe the men’s universe of Christian Louboutin has enormous potential,” he added.
Smith is no stranger to the fashion world, having regularly attended front rows at fashion shows and become a staple at the Met Gala, establishing himself as a recognizable figure in the industry beyond his music and acting careers.
