Beyoncé has released the international trailer for her upcoming concert film, Renaissance: the Beyoncé Movie. Fans can see some footage from the highly anticipated film in the trailer. The teaser is a theatrical version of the pop superstar’s famous world tour. The singer’s voiceover adds a special atmosphere:
‘I close my eyes and travel through worlds of space and time,’ says the 42-year-old artist. – ‘Reality has no power or control over my state of mind in my journey to find the source of recharging my inner being.’
In the film, behind-the-scenes footage of her 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and husband Jay-Z is replaced by on-stage footage. To this video sequence, Beyoncé talks about her personality and the challenges she has faced. She says:
‘In this male-dominated world, I have to be very tough. To balance motherhood and the stage, I have to always remember who I am.’
The one-and-a-half minute teaser shows the highlights of Beyoncé’s stage show, including mini-reviews of the impressive wardrobe and choreography to the sounds of the singer’s hit ‘Break My Soul’. Beyoncé’s “Renaissance World Tour” grossed more than $461 million and became the highest-grossing female tour in history.
