Adriana Lima has made a triumphant return to the ranks of Victoria’s Secret Angels after a six-year hiatus. The company’s social media accounts posted a video in which the model officially announces her return.
In the video, Lima stops a taxi while standing in an elegant trouser suit on a busy street in the evening New York.
“Where are you going?” – Adriana is asked by the driver as she gets into the back seat of the car.
“Home. I’m going home,” the model replies with a smile.
The driver resents this answer and says he doesn’t know where his passenger lives.
“Oh, I’m sorry. Could you drive me to the Victoria’s Secret show,” Lima says embarrassed. – “I’m back!”
In the caption to the clip, the brand noted that it is very happy about this wonderful news, so it can no longer hide it. It is expected that the top model will take to the catwalk already tonight in the next Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
Recall, Adriana began working with the brand back in 1999, and a year later received the title of ‘angel’, becoming the official face of the company along with Tyra Banks, Helena Christensen, Karen Mulder, Stephanie Seymour and Daniela Pestova. Lima abruptly ended her collaboration in 2018 and focused on her personal life.
After the birth of her son in 2022 from director André Lemmers, the model recovered a lot, because of which she was very worried. Haters wrote about the fact that she would no longer be able to walk the catwalk, as she looks ‘not at all modelling’. However, Lima pulled herself together and in just over a year has fully returned to her usual looks.
