Dubai’s hospitality industry thrives on innovation, and few embody this spirit as brilliantly as Nicolas Brochet. The Parisian-born visionary, alongside his longtime collaborator and Fundamental Hospitality founder Evgeny Kuzin, has spent over two decades shaping luxury experiences worldwide, from the chic beaches of Tulum to the vibrant energy of Mykonos. Now, as Dubai cements its status as a global hotspot, they are once again at the forefront—this time with Sirene Beach by Gaia, a breathtaking new beach club set to redefine leisure in the city.
Wow Magazine sat down with Brochet to discuss his journey, his latest project, and his vision for the future of hospitality.
Wow Magazine: Nicolas, your career has taken you from Paris to some of the world’s most glamorous destinations. What drew you to Dubai, and what keeps you here?
Nicolas Brochet: Dubai is a city that never stops evolving. When I first arrived over a decade ago, I was captivated by its ambition—the way it seamlessly blends cultures, luxury, and innovation. Today, it’s not just a place I work; it’s home. The energy here is unmatched, and the opportunities are limitless.

Wow Magazine: Speaking of opportunities, your latest venture, Sirene Beach by Gaia—developed with Evgeny Kuzin and Fundamental Hospitality—has already made waves. What was the inspiration behind it?
Nicolas Brochet: We wanted to create something that felt like an escape—a place where guests could step in and instantly feel transported to the Greek islands. The design, the music, the scents—every detail is curated to evoke that sense of serenity and indulgence. And with Chef Izu Ani’s incredible Mediterranean menu, it’s a full sensory experience.

Wow Magazine: Dubai’s beach club scene is incredibly competitive. How does Sirene stand out?
Nicolas Brochet: It’s not just about size—though, at 9,000 square meters, it’s certainly grand. What sets Sirene apart is the attention to flow and atmosphere. We’ve designed it so that whether you’re lounging by the pool, dining under the stars, or dancing by the beach, each space has its own energy while still feeling connected. Plus, our service is intuitive—guests should feel like every need is anticipated before they even ask.
Wow Magazine: Fundamental Hospitality has been expanding aggressively. What’s next for the group?
Nicolas Brochet: The vision is global. After launching Gaia in London, Monaco, and Marbella, we’re bringing it to Miami this September, with Ibiza and Saint-Tropez in the pipeline. But we’re also developing new concepts—Dubai inspires constant innovation, and we want to keep surprising people.

Wow Magazine: Beyond hospitality, you’re deeply passionate about women’s empowerment. Tell us about that.
Nicolas Brochet: It’s a cause close to my heart. Years ago, I founded the International Tunis Film Festival, one of the first platforms dedicated to women in cinema. Now, I’m working on a major event in Dubai this November, bringing together influential women from across the Middle East to spark meaningful conversations. I truly believe that when women lead, industries transform for the better.
Wow Magazine: Finally, as someone who’s watched Dubai evolve, where do you see the city heading?
Nicolas Brochet: Dubai’s 2040 vision is more than a plan—it’s a blueprint for the future. The focus on sustainability, community, and quality of life is reshaping the city in incredible ways. And with so much talent flocking here, the creative possibilities are endless. I’m excited to be part of this next chapter.

As Nicolas Brochet continues to push boundaries in hospitality and beyond, one thing is clear: his influence extends far beyond the venues he creates. For him, luxury isn’t just about opulence—it’s about crafting unforgettable moments and leaving a lasting impact. And in a city like Dubai, that’s exactly what the future demands.
