Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown, also known as Mel B, tied the knot with her longtime partner, hairstylist Rory McPhee, in a romantic ceremony at the crypt of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London on July 5. This marked a significant moment for the 50-year-old singer, who had vowed never to marry again after two failed marriages.

Dressed in a stunning white gown by Josephine Scott, Mel B walked down the aisle, later changing into a second dress by designer Justin Alexander for the celebrations. Her three daughters—Phoenix, 26, from her marriage to Jimmy Gulzar; Madison, 13, from her relationship with Stephen Belafonte; and Angel Iris, 18, whose father is Eddie Murphy—stood by her side as bridesmaids.

The wedding was attended by close friends and celebrities, including model Cara Delevingne and Emma Bunton, famously known as Baby Spice. Bunton was the only former Spice Girls bandmate to attend the ceremony, offering her support on Mel B’s big day.

While the other Spice Girls couldn’t be there in person, they shared their warm wishes on social media. Victoria Beckham wrote, “Congratulations on your special day! I’m so happy for you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness! Kisses.” Melanie Chisholm, aka Mel C, added, “I’m so happy for you both and so sorry I couldn’t be there. Can’t wait to celebrate with you soon! Yay!”

However, Geri Horner (formerly Halliwell) was noticeably absent. Reports suggest that the two have been estranged since 2019, when Mel B publicly claimed they had been romantically involved in the past.

Despite past heartbreaks, Mel B’s wedding was a joyous occasion, celebrating love, family, and new beginnings. Fans and friends alike wished the couple a lifetime of happiness as they embarked on this new chapter together.
