Dua Lipa and Callum Turner have made their first red carpet appearance as a married couple, stepping out together at the New York premiere of Turner’s new film, One Night Only.
The couple arrived at SVA Theater on August 3, smiling and posing together just weeks after celebrating their wedding in Sicily. Their appearance marked a new public chapter in a relationship that has gradually moved from private romance to one of entertainment’s most closely watched partnerships.
Dua Lipa in custom Ferragamo
For the occasion, Lipa chose a custom Ferragamo gown styled by Lorenzo Posocco.
The design featured a plunging halter neckline, a scarf-like detail and a textured floor-length skirt. Jewel-toned earrings, ear cuffs and a gold bracelet added colour and polish, while the gown’s fluid silhouette brought a sense of understated glamour to the premiere.
The look continued Lipa’s evolution into one of contemporary pop culture’s most consistent fashion figures. Rather than relying on overtly theatrical styling, the singer embraced a more refined form of red carpet dressing — elegant, sensual and controlled.
Turner complemented her in a navy double-breasted Louis Vuitton suit, worn with a pale yellow shirt and a brown-and-yellow striped tie. The coordinated appearance felt polished without becoming overly formal, creating a visual balance between Lipa’s eveningwear and Turner’s classic tailoring.
A premiere with personal significance
The evening placed Turner at the centre of attention professionally. In One Night Only, he stars opposite Monica Barbaro in a romantic comedy set around the single night each year when premarital sex is legally permitted.
Directed by Will Gluck, the filmmaker behind Easy A and Friends with Benefits, the movie is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on August 7.
But the premiere inevitably became a couple moment as well. Their first red carpet appearance after marriage arrived almost exactly two months after their Italian celebration, allowing them to combine a professional milestone with their debut as newlyweds.
From London vows to a Sicilian celebration
Lipa and Turner officially married at London’s Marylebone Town Hall before holding a larger ceremony on June 6 at the historic Villa Valguarnera near Palermo, Sicily.
The singer later shared intimate images from the celebration, including a first look at her custom Chanel haute couture wedding dress. The gown was embellished with crystals and feathers, bringing a romantic couture sensibility to the Mediterranean setting.
Their New York appearance offered a quieter contrast. Where the wedding wardrobe was built around craftsmanship and ceremony, the premiere look introduced the couple’s married style through modern tailoring, minimal drama and an easy sense of confidence.
A relationship that became increasingly public
Lipa and Turner first sparked romance speculation in early 2024 and made their relationship Instagram official that July. The singer later confirmed their engagement in 2025, describing the idea of building a life and growing older together as something deeply meaningful.
Since then, their relationship has unfolded gradually in public — through festival appearances, fashion events and private celebrations rather than constant exposure.
That careful pace has helped preserve a sense of intimacy around them, even as both continue to occupy highly visible positions in music, film and fashion.
Their first red carpet as husband and wife felt consistent with that story. There was no grand performance or dramatic reveal — simply two people arriving together, supporting one another and stepping naturally into their next chapter.
For WOW Magazine, the moment was not only about newlywed glamour. It was also a study in modern couple style: Ferragamo and Louis Vuitton, pop music and cinema, personal celebration and professional ambition sharing the same red carpet.
